Without a student ID card, you won’t have a library account! When your student ID card is created you will be able to do the following:
- Print and scan
- Borrow library books
- Place holds and interlibrary loans
- Register for a free L-Pass
Upload Your Picture to Online Services
Uploading your photo to Online Services is the first step you need to take to get your student ID card created.
- Visit Online Services for Students > My Account > Personal Information
- Log in with your CUE email and password
- Scroll down to “Student ID Photo” and click “Edit”
- Select your photo to upload – making sure to follow the requirements (see below)
- Check the consent box
- Click “Save”

Photo Requirements

- Photo must be taken in the last 6 months
- Eyeware that obscures or tints your eyes must NOT be worn
- Show only your head, face and shoulders against a neutral background
- Directly face the camera
- Natural expressions/smiles welcome
- Photo must be in colour
- Do not have other objects or people in the photo
- No filters
- JPEG, JPG, or PNG files accepted
- Photo file size must be under 10MB
