Why You Should Connect to the Eduroam Wifi

Students have got a couple of wifi options here at Concordia.

At first glance, it might seem easier to use the “Concordia Guest” network, but after a few days of constantly reconnecting, using the guest network can become a major chore.

Luckily for CUE Students, Concordia provides you with free access to the Eduroam wifi network. Once you’ve signed into the Eduroam wifi network you will be connected to the wifi automatically every time you arrive on campus.

What’s more, if you visit another campus or library with an Eduroam network (U of A, MacEwan, NAIT…), you will  be connected to that institution’s wifi automatically as well.

How to Connect to the Eduroam Network:

  1. Once on the CUE campus, select the Eduroam wireless network
  2. Enter your FULL Concordia email address
  3. Enter your network password (same password you have for your CUE email)

Don’t know your network password and/or student email address? Stop by the Library Service Desk or contact IT Services here.
